I use bold, bright , colors , interesting gestural marks and unique palette colors. My origins are modest and I paint daily with gratitude . I am really grateful for my Art Journey , and my collectors and viewers. Everyone views art differently through the cones of their own eyes and apply their own personal life experiences when they evaluate it . Often times I use implied texture to create interest, depth and character. Space is implied by color , strength or lightness and movement. I always have an energy space and/or quiet space within my art for your eyes to rest. I began each piece with a meditation before moving forward. Interesting shapes, words, or designs are used to divide up the picture plane. It is my goal is to let you discover what you enjoy and see in my artworkto lead yourself . My messagecomminicates through use of color, gesture, lines, marks and numerous layers. Often words can be imbedded in my layers. Often what I was thinking of during the creative process is not what you will see. I enjoy the challenge of painting abstract expressionism using various aqua media products. I try to use basic elements either realistically or not. Art is intuitive because as an artist I believe we all hold some form of spiritual influence or context within ourselves that intentionally or un-intentionally get expressed through our art.
